About Me

I am an evolutionary biologist studying fish macroevolution. I am currently updating the Fish Tree of Life with the Alfaro Lab at UCLA to examine the evolution of color pattern across Actinopterygii.

My work involves large-scale phylogenomic approaches using ultraconserved elements (UCEs) harvested fish genome assemblies to build a backbone phylogeny of ray-finned fishes.
